YouTube Targeting Group Upgrades: The ability to pause a targeting group has been added to the YouTube campaign management workflow, as well as improvements with managing placement and network targeting settings independently. The detailed targeting selection now includes a search feature to streamline campaign setup.

Note: Placements and Networks targeting is available to advertisers when activated for their advertiser account.

YouTube Targeting Group Updates

Asset Creation Ad Layout Preview: The asset creation workflow now includes an ad layout preview based on commonly used ad formats and placements supported for the asset type. These layouts appear on the right panel in the asset form for select channels and are there to help you identify the location of the ad components.

Note: Channels supported include Meta, TikTok, Google/YouTube, and The Trade Desk

Meta Multi-Aspect Ratio Assets: The Meta asset creation workflow now allows for 2 optional media files to be uploaded in addition to the 1 required media file. When creating a Meta asset, use the arrow to expand the optional section to select two additional media files using the specified aspect ratios.

Note: These additional media files are used to customized the ad for specific Meta placements using the single ad format for non-catalog campaigns. The Meta ad preview will utilize these additional media files when previewing specific placements.

  1. Miscellaneous improvements and bug fixes, including but not exclusive of the following:

    1. [RETAILER UI] New advertiser-level controls for exposing enhanced local ads on Google Shopping and disabling comments on TikTok

    2. [ADVERTISER UI] We’ve rolled out Optimized Targeting control for YouTube campaigns and Campaign Brand Scope selection for all campaigns to all brand advertisers (retailer-limited).

    3. Updated tooltips in campaign product targeting and campaign copy

    4. Upgrades to The Trade Desk campaign and ad group goals and target KPIs
