Quick Start Guide for Campaign Management

Overview

After logging into the platform, you will land on the Overview page where you can view results at the campaign and product levels as well as sales and performance trends. Use this dashboard to get an overview of all your campaigns across various channels.

How to Create a Campaign

First, select the Campaigns tab along the left-side navigation bar to locate your campaign dashboard.

Next, select the “+” button above the list of active campaigns to create a new campaign.

Enter the campaign name. Select the channels and the objective that you would like to use for the campaign.

  • Note: Channel level targeting and objective selection may not be accessible in your campaign creation workflow based on the experience configured by your retailer for their offsite media program.

  • Select Next to continue in the campaign creation workflow.

Budget and Bidding Strategy

Enter the desired advertising spend.

  • Note: Depending on your retailer’s configuration, you may have the option to enter a lifetime budget. Lifetime budgets are eligible for Meta and TikTok campaigns as of current, and we are working to add support for additional channels.

Product Targeting and Asset Selection

Depending on your retailer’s offsite media program experience, you may have the option to add specific product targeting and assets.

  • Assets are available in the campaign workflow once they have been approved by your retailer. Approval times may very by retailer. Please reach out to your retailer contact with questions on asset approval.

  • Assets are used for certain channels and campaign types. If you do not see the assets menu in your left-side navigation, assets are not supported for the select campaign channels or your retailer’s campaign defaults.

Product targeting may be available in your campaign workflow if enabled by your retailer. If not, your campaign will default to all products in your brand catalog. There are three options when setting your product targeting across the selected channels. Select the headers below to learn about each:

No Filter

All associated products from your brand catalog will be included in the campaign product targeting. This is the default for advertisers who do not see the product targeting tab in the campaign creation workflow.

Filter on Categories and Brands

Create single or multiple rule sets to automatically select products that meet the filter criteria.

Example: A Product set can be created that includes all products with the brand Exalt Fitness and the category of apparel and accessories.

Select Specific Products

Select products directly from the retailer's product catalog to create a custom set for your campaign.

Note: We recommend a minimum of 4 products be selected when creating a custom set.

Channel Campaign Settings

If you have access to edit your campaign channel targeting, you will see additional tabs in your campaign left-side navigation to further configure the ad format and targeting options. These settings will vary by channel and you can learn more about these in the dedicated channel campaign management pages.

Summary

The final step in the campaign creation workflow is the summary page where you can view an overview of the planned campaign settings as a final check before publishing the campaign.

One you have ensured all campaign elements are correct, select “Create Campaign” to publish your campaign.

  • Campaigns with a current or future start date will be set to “Enabled”. Campaigns with a current start date will begin serving immediately.

  • Note: Depending on your retailer’s configured experience, you may not see all fields in the summary page as shown below.
