Event Data Integration

Overview

Symbiosys requires two types of event-level data: visits and orders. These data can be sourced from your data warehouse and transferred to Symbiosys by CSV file dump (preferred). Symbiosys also exposes a public Event API that you can integrate directly with your site/app (e.g., via tag manager) for real-time data ingestion. You may choose to integrate using multiple integration methods (e.g., ingest site data via tag, transfer app data via file dump), depending on your unique requirements.

1. Read the Event Data Requirements section for information on the data expected by Symbiosys.

2. Read the Event Data Integration Methods section to determine which integration method(s) will allow you provide the expected data.

3. Read the Event Data Validation section for steps on providing a data sample to Symbiosys for validation.
