TikTok Ads

Symbiosys requires access to a TikTok Ads account for TikTok Ads support. This can be an existing account or one created specifically for Symbiosys (preferred). The ad account will be linked to the Symbiosys TikTok Business Center account. You will then to share some additional assets and create a Symbiosys pixel for tracking purposes.

Additionally, you may choose to provide Symbiosys with read-only access to your core TikTok ad account to unlock additional features like the Brand Opportunities Report.

Instructions

1. Log In to TikTok Business Center.

2. [Optional] Create a TikTok Ads Account:

If creating a new account specifically for Symbiosys, name it using the format: {Retailer}_{label}_Symbiosys.

3. Share the Ad Account:

   1. Go to Assets > Ad Accounts in the left-hand menu.

   2. Select your ad account from the list.

   3. Go to the Partners sub-menu and click Share with Partner.

   4. Enter the Symbiosys Business Center ID: 7298782286944862209.

   5. Grant either Operator or Admin access.

4. Share the Product Catalog:

   1. Go to Assets > Catalogs in the left-hand menu.

   2. Select your product catalog from the list.

   3. Open the Partners sub-menu and click Share with Partner.

   4. Enter the Symbiosys Business Center ID: 7298782286944862209.

   5. Grant Ad Promotion access.

5. Share the Primary Pixel:

   1. Go to Assets > Pixels in your Business Center account.

   2. Select your primary on-site pixel and click Share with Partner.

   3. Enter the Symbiosys Business Center ID: 7298782286944862209.

   4. Grant Edit Pixels access.

6. Create and Share a Symbiosys Pixel:

   1. Create a new Symbiosys Pixel in your ad account.

   2. Make it available in your Business Center account under Assets > Pixels.

   3. Open the Partners sub-menu and click Share with Partner.

   4. Enter the Symbiosys Business Center ID: 7298782286944862209.

   5. Grant Edit Pixels access.

7. Click Confirm to complete the process.

Authorization for Programmatic Access

Symbiosys will require your approval to access your assets programmatically. Your team will provide you with an authorization URL. Follow these steps:

1. Click the URL and submit your approval.

2. Copy the authorization code (e.g., auth_code="") from the URL.

3. Email the code to your Symbiosys Sales Engineer to complete the technical integration.
