Catalog Carousel

Single video ads require an asset and a destination page to be entered as part of campaign setup.

Catalog Carousel

Catalog carousel ads will display 2-20 products in a slideshow format. If targeting exceeds 20 products, TikTok will defer to dynamic rotation.

  • Catalog carousel ads require a CTA, custom link, and music selection to be entered as part of ad format setup.

  • Note: Music can be sourced from TikTok’s commercial music library or manually uploaded to the campaign.

TikTok Audiences

TikTok offsite ads currently support building original audiences to prospect or retarget based on the retailer’s customer and audiences.

  • Set the appropriate age criteria for your campaign

    • Note: Age demographics are based on TikTok’s audience info

  • Select any gender targeting needed for your campaign

  • Add a first-party retailer custom audience if desired

  • Add any additional native targeting elements from TikTok if desired 

    • Note: Detailed targeting includes all available TikTok interests and behavioral targeting

Retarget audiences

Use this option to engage with audiences who have previously interacted with your products.

  • Select your appropriate engagement action

  • Select the desired action to target (Viewed, Added to Cart, Purchased) and customizable timeframe 

  • Add additional inclusions or exclusions as needed

  • Set the audience demographic targeting

  • Select any 1P retailer audiences to include or exclude alongside retargeting rules

  • Add any additional TikTok native targeting for interests and behaviors
