Campaigns targeting the Google channel will have an additional campaign setting for bid optimization strategy. You can find this under the campaign budget in the bidding section. Here, you can define your bid optimization strategy and Target ROAS for Google campaigns.

  • Bid strategy options include Maximize sales or clicks. 

  • If you would like to enter a target ROAS goal, check the box and enter your desired return %.

    • Note: This field may not be available depending on your retailer’s offsite retail media program experience.

Then, select the desired campaign type for Google Ads.

Shopping Ads 
  • Select the desired priority for the campaign (High, Medium, Low). 

    • This priority ensures your highest priority campaigns are selected when there are duplicate products in multiple campaigns. 

  • Select whether to enable Local inventory ads.

    • Local inventory ads will highlight products that are near a customer at the time of search promoting in-store conversion.

  • Select whether you would like to include Search Networks from Google to expand your reach off platform. 

Performance Max

With Performance Max campaigns, Google automatically optimizes priority to maximize performance against spend. 

  • Assets are optional for Performance Max campaigns.

    • If choosing to use assets, ensure you have added the appropriate asset mix in the assets tab on the left-side navigation during campaign creation. Visit Creating Performance Max Assets for more information.

    • If assets are not used, the campaign will leverage catalog contents dynamically.

  • Select whether you would like to include Search Networks from Google to expand your reach off platform.
