Marketplaces and Seller Mapping
If your business is marketplace or seller-based, meaning multiple sellers or vendors may offer the same product or brand, Symbiosys needs seller-level product data to support activation, attribution, and reporting.
The preferred approach is to include seller information directly in the product catalog feed and send one row per seller offer for a given product. For example, if the same product is sold by three sellers, the feed should include three rows for that product, one for each seller offer.
Each seller-offer row should include a stable product identifier, a stable seller_id, seller or vendor name where available, and any seller-specific values such as price, availability, fulfillment eligibility, and advertising eligibility.
If seller information cannot be included directly in the product catalog feed, Symbiosys may request a separate seller mapping file that maps products to sellers. The product identifiers in the seller mapping file should match the identifiers used in the product catalog feed.
When providing seller information or seller mapping files, please ensure that brand, seller, and vendor names are consistent across all files.
