*TikTok Ads

For TikTok Ads support, Symbiosys requires access to a new ad account, your product catalog(s) and your primary pixel (or a new pixel).

Additionally, you may choose to provide read-only access to your core ad accounts to unlock additional features like the Brand Opportunities Report.

Notes:

  • Symbiosys will need 1:1 (square) thumbnail logo to be used in TikTok ads.

  • The below steps are accurate as of 01/25/2025. Current steps might vary as the TikTok UI is updated frequently.

Instructions

  1. Log in to TikTok Business Center.

  2. Add Symbiosys as a Partner:

    1. In the left panel, click Partners > Add partner.

    2. Enter Symbiosys Business ID: 7298782286944862209.

    3. Symbiosys will approve the partner request.

  3. Create a TikTok Ads Account:

    1. In the left panel, click Accounts > Add advertiser account > Create New.

    2. Provide the following information:

      1. Company Name: {Your company name}.

      2. Company Website: https://{your-company-domain}.com

        1. This does not have to be your retail site – it can just be the homepage for your company site.

        2. This just helps TikTok verify that you’re a legitimate company.

      3. Account Name: {Retailer}_Symbiosys.

      4. Account Time Zone: Time zone of most advertisers (helps with campaign timing).

      5. Advertiser Billing Address: Your company or advertiser headquarters.

      6. Contact Email: An admin email from your team.

    3. After creation:

      1. The account status will remain pending until TikTok approval.

      2. Ensure payment information is attached.

        1. In the left panel, click Finance > Payment management > + Add Ad Account.

        2. Provide the Account ID and grant Admin or Operator permissions.

  4. Share the Ad Account:

    1. In the left panel, go to Accounts.

    2. Select the newly created account.

    3. Under the Partners tab, click Share with partner and select Symbiosys.

    4. Set Account Permissions to Operator.

    5. Symbiosys will add the system@symbiosys.ai user to the ad account.

  5. Share the Product Catalog:

    1. In the left panel, click Assets.

    2. Under the Catalogs tab, for each catalog to be shared:

      1. Click the catalog.

      2. Under the Partners tab, click Share with Partner and select Symbiosys.

      3. Set Access Permission to Ad promotion.

  6. Share the Primary Pixel:

    1. In the left panel, click Assets.

    2. Under the Pixels tab, select your primary pixel.

    3. Under the Partners tab, click Share with Partner and select Symbiosys.

    4. Set Access Permission to Edit Pixels for enhanced audience retargeting and product reporting. If Edit Pixels is not allowed by your business, proceed to the next step.

  7. [Only required if Edit Pixels is not granted in step 6] Create and Share a Symbiosys Pixel:

    1. In the left panel, click Assets.

    2. Under the Pixels tab, click Add a pixel > Create new pixel.

    3. Enter the site URL where advertised products are listed.

    4. Select either Partner integrations or Manual setup and follow the recommended steps.

    5. Once the pixel is created:

      1. In the left panel, click Assets > Pixels.

      2. Select the newly created pixel.

      3. Under the Partners tab, click Share with Partner and select Symbiosys.

      4. Set Access Permission to Edit Pixels.
